JOBST® Gradient Compression

The concept of gradient compression, discovered by Conrad Jobst over 50 years ago, is still the basic operating principle upon which the management of venous disease and lymphedema is based. Gradient compression reduces swelling and helps prevent the pooling of fluid in the venous or lymph systems, and in interstitial spaces. The result is clinically proven improvement in venous and lymph fluid return.

Pure Essential Oils

Eucalyptus Globulus

Fresh, balsamic, and medicinal. Invigorating, stimulating, and anticeptic. Sharply camphorous, clears the head and improves breathing. Belends well with Rosemary. Avoid on face except as steam. Very toxic when taken oraly. (No essential oils should be taken internally.)

Bergamot

(Furocoumarin free) Sweet, citrus note with balsamic hint. Very uplifting and refreshing. Antiseptic, cleansing. Blends well with most oils, including Clary Sage. Avoid before sunbed use or prolonged sunlight exposure.

Lavender (French)

Fresh and sweet. Gentle, versatile oil with a sligght floral scent. Calming, soothing, anti-inflamatory. Aids in healing burns, sun damage, scars. Ideal for all uses. Blends well with Peppermint.

Peppermint

Deeply penetrating with a grassy, minty fragrance. Invigorating, cooling. Good for digestion, headaches. Ideal for footbath. Use in extremely low amounts, keeping well away from the eyes. May irritate skin. Avoid during pregnancy and lactation.

Rosemary

Penetrating, fresh, and herbaceous with woodsy undertones. Stimulating and invigorating. Uplifting. Bleds well with citrus and other herbaceous oils. May irritate skin. Avoid during preganancy and lactation. Avoid if you are epileptic.
